Life is so busy and moming is crazy, but this time is sweet and special because it is only for a season and man do I want to remember it after it's gone!
Tai
Tai
- I love how whenever we tell her something she responds, "Oh!"
- Sometimes when we call for Tai she yells back, "Minute!"
- When we hand her any sort of food she will put two fingers up and say, "two" because she wants one for each hand.
- She is also known for shoving all of her food in her mouth all at once when she either wants more or is in a hurry to go play.
- She has started singing "showman" all the time! Very loudly. "Whoa! Show!" She also sings Happy Birthday a lot. Usually to Grandpa or Dad at work.
- She says, "happy" when she is happy and I love it.
- I heard her count to 5 all by herself a couple weeks ago.
- She also knows a surprising amount of colors that I don't remember teaching her. Red, green, purple, and pink.
- Sometimes when I go to get her out of bed she says, "colorin" and it's because she licks her finger and draws pictures on the back of her crib with her spit! haha
- We also finally bought that gross stuff you paint on kids thumbs, but she just sucks it off. So now she had a thumb guard.
- I love when she says, "wuggle me" and takes me to the couch to snuggle.
- She tattle tales on Kyle when he takes food in the living room. I tell her and Kasen to stay in the kitchen so when Kyle went to sit on the couch the other day she yelled, "Dad carpet!"
- When Kasen is crying Tai will come find me to tell me, "Mom, Kasen hurt." She also lets me know when he gets stuck in the swing downstairs or needs me to wipe his bum. The best though is that when my door is shut she lays on the floor and yells these things to me under the door. "Mom! Kasen touch TV!"
- In the car she asks to listen to "Elsa" then screams "AGAIN!" after the troll song.
- She's also started saying, "No thanks, I'm good." Just like Kasen does.
- They both yell with Kyle at the TV when he's watching sports, "Are you kidding me?!"
- She has started to say to any dog she hears barking, "Acka, shut up!"
- Usually when we get in the car the first thing Tai does is take of her shoes so that she can put her socks on her hands. I've stopped putting her shoes on until we get to where we're going.
Kasen
- Kasen has started saying "Never" when he means No. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's aggravating.
- The other day, after I had run, I told Kyle how I had to lay down and thought I was going to die. Kasen said, "You were going to die?! That's terrible!"
- He's started raising one side of his nose when he asks a question. Like Mowgli. It's adorable.
- Sometimes he tells me he's starving and I don't know where he got that from.
- The other day I put his hooded towel on after the bath and he said, "Mom, I look like a gnome." Also don't know where he learned what the heck a gnome is.
- I love his joke "Make a tissue dance, put a boogie in it" especially when he does a little shimmy.
- He still undresses the second we get home from anywhere and if we ever ask him to put clothes on he asks, "But where are we going to?" The next question is "Are you staying with me?" "Oh Thank you!"
- When he spills or pees the bed he comes to tell me then says, "Makes me so mad!" Although this week when he peed the bed he kept telling me it was water. There was water on his pajamas and his blanket.
- The other day I was being dramatic about a cartoon we were watching and he said, "Mom, it's just a show!"
- He's started saying, "or something" at the end of most of his sentences.
- When he sits on the couch with us he'll say, "This is a little bit of our family!" If Tai is on the couch with us he'll tell us, "This is our family!" And he's so happy to all be on the same couch together. It's my favorite.
- After Kasen tells me something he says, "Got it?" and after I respond, "got it." He says, "Great!" He's got Tai responding "got it" to him too!
- Right now he's into tornadoes. He spins like tornadoes and tells me they go "Whoop whoop whoop"
- He's always quoting movies when he talks to himself. Even while he pees. Which is a fun game for me to guess which movie he is quoting. The things he remembers are so funny to me.
Kasen has officially worn his first band aid. Sunday he was swinging between the TV cabinet and the couch and his hand slipped. He split his eyebrow open and there was a good amount of blood. He probably could of used a couple stitches, but we just put neosporin and a bandaid on it. I'm proud if him for not touching it though! He's had the same bandaid on for 3 days!
Friday we decorated for Christmas and even though I tell Kasen not to touch the ornaments he cannot help himself from categorizing them! He's put all the snowmen on the same branch and the island and sandal on their own branch. He wants to bad to put the boat with those ones, but can't reach.
The other day I came out and they had the chairs laid down doing a count down to blast off in their rocket ship! I love Kasen's imagination! and I love watching him play with Tai.
Man, they are just my favorites.
