Running, Swimming and Sleeping

Ran my 14th race Saturday morning! It was the Hobbler 5K in Springville that we ran last year, except this year I was running all by myself. It's a race that Kristi had signed up for and transferred to me once they moved to Texas. And it wasn't at all as fun to be there by myself.
Right as I was finishing, my friend Megan ran by as she was finishing the half marathon and I followed her across the finish line so that was a happy surprise to run into her there!
Later that day we went to Presley's 2nd birthday party and got to go swimming with all the cousins!
Thanks Lyndsey and Krista for getting in to swim with all of them!
Kennedy was even getting Tai to jump in from the side of the pool with her.
Kasen got even braver and is jumping in from the side now too!
And practicing his floating.
Tai wanted to float in the monkey floatie but she's not strong enough to stay upright in it. It kept just pinning her back against the water! Haha
The rest of the summer is keeping us busy and exhausted. We take lots of naps wherever we want.
And Kasen's new favorite thing to do is make books. He tears out pages of his coloring books and steals my stapler to staple all his pages back together into a book.
Like every day for 2 weeks now. The staples are finally gone now though so hopefully the paper madness will end.

We also went to clean the church last week and were picking up garbage outside when I found a Frisbee on the grass. I asked Kasen if he wanted it and now he tells everyone that I stole a Frisbee...
Awesome.
Poor Peeka is missing her puppies. She carries around that toy and whines about it almost daily.
And the kids had fun decorating her house with their muddy hand prints!
