McKenna invited us all to her house again this year for our annual family homemade gingerbread house decorating party! After breakfast that morning Kasen told me that he couldn't finish his cereal cause he was saving room for his gingerbread house! Haha

Kasen wanted me to make sure that his house had a "chim-a-ney" and told us that our house doesn't have a chimney so Santa will come through the door.
Soon into decorating Tai was crying cause we told her she couldn't eat any more candy...
She was a good sport when her roof fell down though and kept decorating her little box! Until she got sick of eating candy probably.
When I ask Kyle to take a picture of me :)
Didn't get our next gen pic this year, but these are all the houses!
From there we went to our Ward Christmas Party and saw the Nativity that the primary did.
Kasen even got to go sing Away in a Manger with them.
Then we headed over to the Eagle Mountain Christmas Village! My kids never saw Santa last year, but Santa was at the Christmas Village this year so we waited in line.
Kasen had no problem sitting on Santa's lap and telling him about all the Spiderman things he wants for Christmas. But Tai wouldn't even say Merry Christmas to him or Mrs. Claus. She still took a candy cane though! Kasen didn't want the candy cane until we promised him it wasn't one of the hot (peppermint) ones!
We also got to see 2 of Santa's reindeer AND got some free hot chocolate. It was so yummy and perfect. Perks of staying till closing time.
So pretty much we got to do almost all the Christmas things all in one day.
Almost.
Tonight we went to the Peterson family Christmas party at Uncle Jonathan's house. I love Christmas parties so it's a good thing we have lots more to come.
