We've been having so much Christmas time fun these last couple weeks!
Right after Tai's birthday party we went with Kyle's family up to Temple Square to see the lights and watch a couple of the Christmas videos they show there. We go every year and then out to dinner at Chilies together.
We also went to a couple fun story times at the library this month! We got to make reindeer and the other one was a glow in the dark story time with shadow puppets.
I'd been writing down every time someone mentions an address on social media with dancing Christmas lights and got 5 addresses that we all went to see one night! It was so much fun and we especially loved the Elsa one playing "Into the Unknown"
And we finally got to take our sled out to go sledding! Beckett came with us, but my kids can't stop eating the snow long enough to take a picture. They had fun saying "Ready. Set. Go!" and racing down the hill, then declaring that they are the winner. Kasen even went on his tummy "like a penguin". I loved that they stayed for over an hour too. Now we just need another good snow to make a snowman!
On the 16th Kyle and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We watched our wedding video and I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks for him that day :) And we went to do our anniversary sealings at the temple that week too.
I love Kyle so much for how he takes care of me in every way. He mops the floor when I flood the house, unclogs the toilet when Tai uses too much toilet paper, puts the Christmas lights up without me even asking, fills Peeka's food bucket for me even though he hates her, always makes sure I am drinking enough water, freeze dries all the food, lets me put my cold toes under him at night, holds my hand in the car, kisses me before work and tells me I'm beautiful. Through these 8 years we've dealt with 7 vehicles, 6 residents, 5 pets, working on a 4th pregnancy, 3 crazy families, earned 2 bachelors degrees and made 1 happy life and he's taken care of me through it all. I love him so much!
We got to go watch Kasen's preschool Christmas performance and it was 100% better than his Halloween one (where he stood like a grump and didn't sing at all). Today he was so excited! He showed us the snowman he made and was singing and doing all the actions and even bowing at the end of each song! It was so stinking cute. And then they showed us some of their tumbling tricks too.
I loved that he kept saying, "Ho Ho Ho"every time he held his Santa face up and whenever you ask him what his favorite Christmas song is he'll tell you "Santa Claus is Coming to Town!"
Our youth activity for the week was a white elephant gift exchange and how genius is this gift that I got?! I love it so much and want to use it for gifts next year. It is hilarious. Elf is such a good movie.
This week we also had our 3rd annual Green Grinch Dinner! Katey made the cutest little Grinch fruit kabobs with the kids and we had green cheese blintzes, crepes, eggs and bacon with green Who pudding for dessert! I love our Grinch nights!

The next day we had a late Friendsgiving at Becca's house and the kids all decorated gingerbread houses afterwards. Kasen has been asking me to write a "capital four" for him so we've been trying to teach him that only letters have capital and lower cases.
FOUR more days till Christmas and we are getting so excited!
