We didn't know how soon EmmaLee would be having her baby and since Kristi and Marc were visiting from Texas, Grammy planned a family Easter get together at our house!
Grammy gave kites to the bigger kids and we went over to the park to fly them. We didn't have much wind for long, but it was enough to get them all up in the air for a little while.
Then we went back to our house and Grammy had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids! They were each assigned their own color of eggs to look for. At first Kohen was trying to take all the eggs he found, but towards the end he was understanding that his were the light blue and only putting those ones in his bag. I love that they stop to open each egg they find to see what there is to eat, before putting it in their bags.
There were also 3 golden eggs that each of the big kids got with a $5 bill inside! Just like when we were kids. Except there was only one golden egg back then.
Kristi and Marc slept over at our house and then this morning we took them to the Saratoga Springs hot spring. They found tiny shells and saw lots of pelicans flying over. It was fun having them visit from Texas! Also, I pulled 3 slivers out of Marc's hand like a boss. We totally rocked that.
