April

Tai recorded a whole video of Kohen standing there scratching his tummy. It's what he does. Cause we let him eat dairy. His poor itchy tummy.
-I love how he wakes up in the mornings and finds socks and shoes in his bedroom, takes them to his bed and puts them on.
-I love how he brings his blanket or grabs the one we're using to pull up on top of him to snuggle.
-He folds his arms when we do family prayer and sometimes when he's mad.
-He knows how to blow his nose and it's adorable
-He pulls fuzz balls off of his diaper, just like Kasen used to do and it drives me crazy that they're all over the floor.
-I love watching him fast stomp when he dances or kick a ball and how he knows where to put all the shapes in his shape toys buckets.
-He says ball with a special emphasis on the LL, please sounds like "Pleh" with another hard L and he says granola bar with his tongue out of his mouth for the "ohLa ohLa ba" part. He also knows egg or "eh" cause the Easter eggs are on top of the dryer and he yells for one every time we come in from the car.
-When I lay him down for bed he sees it as the perfect time to tell me where my eyes, nose and teeth are.
Our house still looks like this. It has for months! Kohen is into everything and has a favorite spot that he colors on the wall as soon as any pencil gets left out.
Also, kids with magnifying glasses is the cutest! Watching them figure out how things work is so fun.
His tongue!
Last week I visited Wheeler Farm for the first time! Had a picnic with Ashley and Sariah. The girl next door and the girl across the street that I met 30 years ago. Crazy that all our parents still live in the houses we all grew up in too.
We walked around to see the animals and I had no idea that Kohen knows that cows say "Moo" and horses "neigh"!
4 wheeler ride at Grandpa Kelly's family dinner
We had a code for a free date box to be sent to us in the mail so a couple weeks ago we made homemade truffles together! Kyle added peanut butter to his and they all turned out to be pretty good. There were conversation cards and a Spotify playlist for us to listen to while we made. truffles too.

This might be the last time we visit the Provo Temple with it looking like this. Once the Orem Temple is finished this one will be closed to be rebuilt!
Kasen has been asking how he can earn some money because he wants to buy Dogman stuffies. We don't want to pay him for doing chores that he should just already be doing, so we decided to let him weed both garden boxes and the front flower bed to earn $5. Tai and Kohen wanted to get in on it too!
Kasen is obsessed with Dogman right now. He reads it, he draws it, he snuggles it when he sleeps, he pulls weeds to earn money to buy it! He wants 80 HD next.
Tai also got to go on her first ever birthday date! That is what Grammy Tammy gives the grandkids for their present, so Tai got to cash in on it yesterday. Grammy took her to Build a Bear and she made a dolphin and went to Cinnabon too! Tai had so much fun. Thank you Grammy!
Kyle and I also got to go on a double date to Desert Star Playhouse with the DeVaneys last night. They invited us to see Hunkcules and it was a fun musical spoof. Our favorite is when you can tell when the cast is making stuff up on the fly and straying from the script.
