The end of school is fast approaching and Tai is especially sad because they will be leaving Saratoga Shores to go to Hidden Hollow next year. It has the ALL program also, but is in Eagle Mountain. Tai cried the whole way to school when I told her. She doesn't want to leave her friend Brynlee.
Kasen's two best friends are Daisy and Kaisa. They know how to do 3 way calls to talk on the phone together and have bigs plans to write and publish books. The first one being The Banana Nut Babies. Daisy will be going to Hidden Hollow too though, so Kasen isn't as sad.
Kasen's class did a special singing performance called 'We Are Amazing; My Hero Journey' that most of his grandparents were able to come watch one night also. They did actions for all the songs and he had a speaking part in between songs saying, "Just remember never ever ever ever lose hope. The storms of life can make us stronger and give us hope to hold on even when things get hard."
There was also a talent show for each of their classes that Kasen played the piano for and Tai took one of her paintings to show.
This week I got to go with Kasen on his 3rd field trip of the year to the Aquarium!
Daisy and Kaisa and Amanda were all in our group with us. Kasen wouldn't touch any of the water animals or go over the rope bridge, but we went to a class where we all got to touch an African Millipede!Kasen sewed this pillow all by himself at school and was also the Smiles Hero for the week, which meant he finally got to show the About Me person he made over the summer.
Tai volunteered to make a Kindness poster for the school and they hung it up in the hallway. I love her Friends Forever earth on it.
Chess club is over, but on top of piano and Activity Days, Tai has also started soccer and a 4 week tumbling class at Inspire Sports. Kohen is finally having a turn to do a sport too, playing T-ball!
5 weeks left.
