Temple Time

Last night we got to go with Kyle's family to the Provo City Center Temple to seal Kelly's parents together for eternity. It was a super special experience and the first time I have ever seen temple ordinances done for someone I have met before. Not only were Kyle's grandparents, James and Barbara, sealed together, but 3 of their sons were also sealed to them too!
Kyle got to be proxy for his Grandpa Jim (where his middle comes from) and Hayden got to be the proxy for their uncle Bradley (where his middle name comes from).
The way the Lord softens hearts to bless families for generations is such a gift.
The Atonement of Jesus Christ reaches farther than we will ever understand in this life. The Atonement brings so much hope and joy and the way we can access its power, throughout eternity, is though the temple covenants that we make. The power that our temple covenants have to protect us and help us progress, even after this life are unimaginable. I'm so grateful that I got to feel a piece of it last night.
Also, we went to Rockwell for ice cream afterwards and the chocolate MUDDY BUDDY ice cream is geniusly delicious! I need to go back for more asap!
