We thought it would be a perfect day to go to the zoo this morning, super smart going on a weekday, since school is still in...
Until we pulled up and found out it was like the entire state of Utah's "Let's go on a field trip to the zoo day" today! At least 12 school buses full of children went in right before us.
But we pressed on!
This kid with his map was my FAVORITE! We gave it to him and he kept asking where we were and where the animals were. He meant business with his zoo map.
At the elephants we got to watch them using their nose to eat, just like a hand! And then get a drink with their nose, just like a straw! Grammy asked Kasen if he can use his nose like a hand to eat and he said, "No, I'm Kasen! I'm not an elephant!"
Kasen likes playing Red Light, Green Light sometimes, but he only wants me to do red light and he only does green lights!
As far as I can remember, this was both of our first time on a carousel! Kasen kept saying, "Wow, this is so fun!"
This is as good as the lobsters that hold claws! "See he's her lobster!"
Grammy took us all on a train ride too! Kasen beat the conductor to the punch yelling, "All Aboard!"
Tai's mommy's girl phase is getting rough. She screams if I'm not the one holding her. We're working on it...
It was perfect weather for the zoo today though. We had a blast.
