I got to see so many friends this week that it made for a FANTASTIC week!
Friday we got to go to Baby Animal Days in Midway with Ashley, Hazel and Hyde!
We almost got rained out, but just like our day at the zoo, our luck turned around and the weather worked out for us!
Hazel and Kasen were SO cute together, holding hands and telling each other how they spell their names and talking about not being shy.
They had so much fun going down this big slide and whenever I put Tai up on the haystacks she said, "I'm king of the castle!"
The guinea pigs were funny because as we walked up Kasen asked, "why are there hamsters here?" and then shortly after Tai said, "mouse-ies!" Haha so they both learned what guinea pigs are that day.
They ran with this little pony while it circled it's pen for a good little while!
And Tai has a little bit of Kyle in her cause I caught her squeezing the birds till they squeaked a couple times. Mostly she was so cute and gentle though! On our way out they gave each of us a little cup of cream to shake until we made our own butter.
Afterwards we stopped at Dairy Keen in Heber. I remember eating there with my family when I was little and knew Kasen would LOVE seeing the trains!
Katey even came by for a little while too! She paid for the kids to all ride the train ride and we stayed there playing for a good 2 hours probably.
Saturday morning, after Kasen's T-ball game, I headed up to Park City to stay in Carrie's condo for a girls weekend with a few friends from high school!
I ate an amazing acai bowl at Fiveseeds for lunch, we went shopping at the outlets and then headed up to the Deer Valley resort to ride the elevator lift up to hang out on their patio by the fire.
We spent the rest of the night hanging out at the condo together eating cookie dough ice cream, playing games and having so much fun. Thank you Carrie for inviting us all to such a fun getaway!
Kasen told me about the train restaurant. Now I know what he was talking about.
