Raptors T-Ball

Go Kasen!
This morning Kasen got to play his first t-ball game! The real first one got cancelled because it is still snowing in the middle of April!
Unfortunately Kyle had to work and Tai went to an Easter egg hunt so I was solo. It's always a question mark on whether Kasen will even play though.
He gets so shy sometimes and will say that he is scared and not want to go over by his team, but usually after some convincing, bribing and walking him over there, he does great!
Mr. left handed got to hit the ball twice during the game! We haven't found him a left handed mit yet though.
He didn't like running the bases with the helmet on.
Watching him out there in the field cracks me up! I wish I knew what he was thinking cause it's not about getting the ball. He plays with his hat and makes finger binoculars. So funny!
Kasen hasn't been around many long bearded men (just the "cactus" beards) and the second practice we had, his coach was kneeling down talking to another boy and I look up to see Kasen waving his hand back and forth in his coach's beard! Haha His coach was such a good sport and pretended like it wasn't happening. And now Kasen knows what a long beard feels like...

The rest of April has been going good.
I got a business logo decal for my car. It's a little bigger than I wanted and Kyle now calls our car "The Billboard"
I also learned that the "basic" car wash at the gas station does not include the air dryer... Stupidest thing I have ever heard. Apparently air costs too much to include with every car wash. What would even be the point of washing your car to drive away with water spots drying all over it?!
Other life lesson that was re-emphasized to me this week is how much technology HATES me!
When I can't get something to work and ask Kyle to help me figure it out, he ALWAYS gets it the first time. Making me look like a first rate idiot.
So my vacuum wasn't working last week. The brush wouldn't spin. So I cleaned the vacuum inside and out. With a toothbrush. All 3 filters. Opened it up and made sure the belt wasn't broken. Unplugged it and plugged it back in. Everything.
So I was going to take it to Budget Sew and Vac for a free estimate of what was wrong, but they were closed Saturday and Sunday AND Monday.
I was dying. I cannot go over a week without vacuuming my house. It causes me to be in a bad mood. I told Kyle I HAD to vacuum. So being the AMAZING husband that he is, he went to Bed Bath and Beyond to buy me a brand new, RED Shark vacuum! The last one they had, so he agreed to buy the display model without the box.
After peeling off 5 very annoying and unnecessary stickers (biggest pet peeve ever!) I vacuumed our entire house.
Well, I was still curious about the other vacuum so Tuesday I took it to the repair shop. The guy plugged it in and the brush freaking WORKED!
Me again looking like an idiot. An idiot now out $200 cause I HAD to vacuum. Ugh.
