Monthly temple date!
Becca and I switch babysitting so we can each go on our monthly temple dates. And I could just sit and listen to these kids talk to each other all day! It is so funny to hear their conversations and what they like to talk about and play with each other.
Kasen and Kyle went on their first little Fathers and Sons camp out with the ward! I think I was more excited about it than Kyle was, but I thought it sounded like so much fun!
And Kasen was so excited too. He got all ready and told Tai, "Sorry you can't come with me Tai, it's just the boys."
It's alright though cause I got to take Tai with all the girls to a dinner date at Olive Garden!
I got a video from Kasen in the tent that night telling Kyle about how stars make "consellations" and that he saw a square constellation. He's way too smart.
And he is loving preschool. If anyone asks him how he likes school he will tell you it's PRE-school.
The first week they got to take 3 of their favorite things in an about me bag. Kasen took a picture of our family, an orange crayon (his favorite color) and his Spiderman mask.
Tai comes home and we read books and then take a nap. It's the best.
Kasen finally got to go on the train ride at the train park! The train was a lot smaller that what I thought it looked like on the picture, but the kids still loved going on a little train ride around the park. Later that day we went to a Peterson family reunion at my uncle Grant's house in Grantsville.
He had rented a couple blow up water slides and he grilled us some steaks, although Tai kept asking for more hamburger (that's what she calls steak). She was loving that steak!
And the green and pink ice cream cones. They had 2 each. Tai spent most of her day in that swing, she would stay in a swing all day long if she could. So most of the time I avoid the swing park...
"Hey Tai can I see your ice cream cone? Thanks..."
Now that Kyle is working graves he has to sleep most of the morning so we try to go outside. But like I've said before, it's hard to keep up with how often they want to switch activities. This particular day we stopped riding bikes to draw with chalk, then went to the backyard to swim in the pool, eat popsicles and run through the sprinklers. Then we came back inside to bake a pie for our FHE treat and that was all before it was even lunch time!
Exhausting man.
PS I still do not like graves.
Thursday night we got together at the Eason's, with the Gneitings and Parrys to watch the Utes beat BYU for the NINTH year in a row! Kyle was so happy. I was just there for the food.
