Scheduled

Our induction is officially scheduled for August 5th at 39 weeks. Which means at most there are only 16 days until Kohen is here! Crossing my fingers I don't need a C-section. It's looking hopeful though because we had our last ultrasound today and he is head down, estimated weight just under 8 pounds.

Never have I ever taken a bare naked pregnant belly picture, but for some reason I wanted to remember it this time. Maybe it's the possibility that this one could be our last.

So these were at 34 weeks and I am still surprised that I don't have giant stretch marks. My mom had big stretch marks and EmmaLee has stretch marks, but even with my 9 pound babies, still no stretch marks. Yet.
At 35 weeks Stephanie threw us the cutest little baby shower! Buns in the oven and Burgers on the Grill. My belly is so much bigger than Emma's, even though she's farther along than I am. I asked for no gifts since I've already had 2 showers, but quite a few people still brought me gifts. It was super nice of everyone. Thanks guys!

36 weeks!
I asked Steph to come do one more maternity session with my kids this time. Kasen was not happy because apparently he hates jeans, but we finally got him to cooperate.

Kyle's been working like crazy on the basement. I helped him get it all primed and painted and we went to pick out carpet, but I was a little bit bummed that we haven't had any time to even go on a date at all before Kohen comes. Luckily a photo job fell through Saturday night and luckily Krista could babysit and we got to go out on our first and probably last date of the year!!
We ate dinner at Olive Garden, went to Improv Broadway and grabbed some Cold Stone on the way home. Perfect little date night before we become a family of 5.
I'm still trying to figure out how to sleep though because I need to lay up enough to avoid the heartburn, put a pillow between my legs and behind my back for the lower back pain, roll over and also sit up slow enough that my pelvic bone doesn't break, while also flexing my feet so I don't get a charlie horse and try to make sure I find just the right position that my arms and/or my legs don't fall asleep and get tingly.
Now that I'm past 36 weeks though Kyle will allow me to tell him when I am having contractions. Which is ALL the time!
