Kasen played his last Quickball game on Wednesday and then Thursday morning Kasen and Tai had their last swimming lesson of their second session and got to ride the slides again! We made it!
Sometimes Kasen gets bored and runs to the bases like a Zombie Kasen. Haha
He tells me he wants to run faster than playdoh dries, faster than grass grows, faster than people build, faster than a toilet flushes, faster than cement comes out of a cement truck, faster than you can turn your head, faster than the cat, faster than electricity in a power line, faster than hair grows, etc. I love hearing what he comes up with! It's so funny!
He does pretty good hitting the ball when he's up to bat though!
On the way to swim lessons I'd have Tai show me how she was going to do a bob under the water and every day she would tell me she was going to do one. And every day with her teacher she would tell him no. So afterwards I'd ask where were her bobs were and she'd say they "are not anywhere". Stinker! Did not care at all that Kasen would eat some ice cream every day without her.
After taking a break from painting the basement to go get carpet ordered, we stopped by the temple for another temple walk. Oh how I miss the temple, but I'm glad that Kasen and Tai have had a chance to spend some time there walking around these past few months.
After telling Kyle on the phone that I was lost, trying to figure out what the heck is going on at 2100 North in Lehi, Kasen for real thought we weren't going to ever make it home again. So today after our family sacrament Kyle gave the perfectly inspired lesson on what we can do when we are lost either physically or spiritually. Feeling lost can be scary, but we know we are never alone. Christ will leave the 99 to come find the one that is lost. We can pray to Him anytime for guidance when we don't know what to do or where to go and as long as we're striving to follow Him we will always be able to find our way home.
