Fourth of July

We woke up and went to a ward Fourth of July breakfast with a little kids bike parade!

I bought the kids some Fourth of July popsicles and when we went outside to eat them we found 4 mouse babies on our rug outside! Ahhh! Kyle took care of them for us though.

Later we headed down to Spanish Fork to walk to Dripping Rock and play in the water!

Kohen got the most wet and Kolt was a close 2nd. They loved chasing Bentley's little remote controlled boat though!

Then we went to Kyley's house for a family BBQ and fireworks! And Kohen got to hold one of their chickens, which he asked to bring home. Krista brought some festive fruit and we made yummy chicken and shrimp kabobs with smoked macaroni and cheese.

Then we went out to do fireworks! Will bought some BIG ones. And Karissa brought glow sticks for all the kids too!

SPARKLERS!!

Where Kasen learned about the importance of wearing shoes while doing fireworks. He stepped on a sparkler and got a good little burn on the bottom of his foot.

Watching Tai dance with her cousins to 'Party in the USA' and then spin around in circles singing 'This Girl is on Fire!' was one of those happy memory moments where I am just grateful that life is so good. I am so lucky to have the life I have, the family I have and a safe country to enjoy it all in. Tai was so cute hugging Charly and Reagan and telling them she loves them. I hope they stay best friends forever.
