Playing on the waterslide with friends! Until Tai freaked about seeing a spider and was telling everyone that the venom would get in the water and kill everyone...
The kids are now done with both sessions of swimming lessons this summer!
Lehi was more expensive than PG, but since it's inside they didn't cancel 5x for weather.
On our way home from swimming lessons one day I heard Tai panicking, "My tooth fell out in my hand!" We knew it was about to. The tooth replacing it was half way in already. But still it totally freaked her out that she was wiggling it and it just came out in her hand. #9
I wasn't able to get all the kids into swimming lessons at the same time for the second session. So I was at the pool for almost 2 hours waiting for each of their 30 minute class. It was miserable. I will never do it again. ONCE in my 2 hours of walking around each day, Kolt fell asleep.
I made them read, they played with rocks and just walked around while we waited.
I love how much the kids have progressed though! Tai passed Level 2 and was so happy.
Kasen got to go watch Camden perform in his Theater Class play again this summer.
And since there isn't a snow cone shack near us this summer, we went to get Yummy Ice instead, which is WAY BETTER than a snow cone anyway!
Kolt loves playing in the garden box dirt and doesn't even stop when he throws it up and it gets into his eyes! Tai has been asking to go get Kasen a birthday present and she knew exactly what she wanted to get him. Pit Viper sunglasses. And Kasen LOVES them. He wears them everywhere now!Ashley and Mom Annette rode with me up to visit Katey's art show in Midway one day. She's been painting and Mom even bought us one of her New Testament prints.
Tai cried most of the way up because Kasen would not stop talking about rattlesnakes though.
We had family dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth's house and both Tai and Kasen wanted to hold Chloe the whole time. It was so sweet! Tai even got her to fall asleep while holding her.
I hadn't seen Becky since right after I got home from my mission so it was fun to catch up with her. We met at Quail Orchard Park so the kids could play, while Tai went to Reagan's birthday party.
BUSY summer!
Our neighborhood does a kids entrepreneurship fair and this year we finally went! Just so my kids can't tell me I never let them have a lemonade stand anymore. lol Kasen has been wanting to try to sell the book he wrote and Tai made bracelets and perler bead things to sell. We were only there for 1 hour, before swimming lessons, but all my kids were able to sell was 5 cups of lemonade. But disappointment is part of life. They spent all their money buying all sorts of things from other kids though! Later that day we went over to the DeGraffenried's for snow cones before going to the Rodeo that night!
Like I said, BUSY, FUN summer!
