First Week Finished

The kids ended their first full week of school with one more Grammy swimming date! This time we went to Stansbury Park to swim and there were 31mph winds, but the kids had fun swimming for a couple hours. Thank you Grammy!!

The first week of school Kasen learned all about the madness of getting blisters from the monkey bars and started a blisters club with his friend, with they also designed shirts for.
Kasen and Tai got to play with playdoh while the other did piano lessons and Kasen made The infamous Banana Nut Babies!
"It's not a banana. It's basically a centaur, like a banana and a human hybrid. This is how big it is in real life."
Tai also found time for a couple art projects this week.
Kohen got to run around in the rain. Cause it still rains weekly.
-He impresses me in the car because almost everywhere we drive he tells me, "this is the way to ________" and asks if that's where we're headed. He recognizes the roads we take to get to all the places and when I have told him where we are going, if I take any detour he lets me know I'm going the wrong way.
-For Friday family movie night Kasen asked to watch Into the Woods and oh my gosh, Kohen was crying! When the man leaves his baby, "Why doesn't he care about his baby? When is he coming back for his baby? Why did the guy leave his baby?" He was so sad! and talked about it all the next day.

And Kolt is climbing on everything. He knows how to scale his highchair to get onto the kitchen counter...
We're trying to get him to use a sippy cup instead of his bottle and he's not going for it. He loves his blankets, both of them, and wants to bring them when we leave his room. Kolt also wants to talk so bad, but it's all still just yelling and screaming.
Yesterday was a pretty fantastic Sunday. I unlocked some childhood memories playing cats cradle and Say Say My Playmate with Tai,
Made cookies with Kasen. That were NOT flatter than a pancake!
And helped Kohen build a fort that he wanted to sleep in that night.
We also went for an hour long walk together that night. It was magic.
I love watching our kids learn and grow and get excited and say funny things and just make us smile.
Families are the best!
