Saturday was a busy day!
We took the kids to ride the train at the train park and then went car shopping.
Every time our Nissan needs to be repaired we debate trading it in so this time we finally did. Bye to our blue, 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and hello to a red, 2022 Nissan Pathfinder! We had our old one for 5 1/2 years and I put almost 100,000 miles on it so it was at almost 130,000 miles. They let us trade it in for about $4,000 towards the $30,900 we bought this new one for. We were able to put half down and finance the other half till we decide to pay it off. Still insane how high the price of cars are though. Almost double what we paid for our last Nissan.
It only has 16,000 miles on it too. So many miles of adventures await!
We really like the seating arrangement because there are now 3 seats in the third row and captain chairs in the second row so there's room to walk to the back without leaving a seat folded down all the time. Added bonuses are that there is a moon roof AND heated seats!! Woo hoo!
Although I am kinda bummed that there isn't' a CD player anymore... How do I listen to my music I already bought?!
While we were buying it, Grammy took Kasen to Boondocks for his birthday date and then came to watch the kids while we went on a temple date! We stopped at Texas Roadhouse for dinner and when we got home we went running together to Macey's to grab some groceries. Didn't even get rained on either!
It was a good day.
