Bad TWO The Bone

Baby Kolt is TWO! So we had a Puppy party on Saturday because he squeals whenever he sees a dog and points at it until I acknowledge that there is a dog. He has to make sure I see every one. It's also one of the very few words that he knows.

I made a big bone cake and we had pup treats, puppy chow, Pupperoni pizza, Grandma Forsyth brought Paw-sta salad and Toilet Water to drink!
Kohen and Tai made sure to find every dog stuffy we have to decorate with too.
I wanted to rent a puppy for him to play with, but Grammy brought Perdy for us to play with instead. Kolt loved sharing his toys with her and feeding her all the pizza!

I love how he started blowing out each candle as Kyle was lighting them!
Then I helped him open presents. Grandpa Kelly gave him an Alphabet toy, Hayden's family gave him a dinosaur headlamp, Lyndsey's family gave him 6 new basketballs for our Little Tikes basketball hoop, and Kyley's family gave him a music player, that he specifically wants to play the Chicken Banana song so he can dance!
Grandma Melanie also sent a gift with a Scooper, Mixer and Dumper truck.
Grammy gave him a puppy bubble machine, which he also loves and Great Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth mailed him a birthday card with birthday money. The DeVaney's also came and gave him a Chase and Marshall stuffy. So many fun gifts!
Thank you everyone so much!
He can say a handful of sounds that we know as words; No and no (nose), mama, dada, go, cah (car), nana (banana), mo mew (more milk), doh (dog), bah (bath or ball), ubuh (up), bo (bonk), eeee (please), boo (book), ow (out) to get out of his carseat, and he makes some fun noises when he sees a picture of a pig, cat or dinosaur! He waves to all the cars outside and if he wants to eat something he points into his mouth. Other than that, he throws massive tantrums when he wants something. We are hoping he learns to talk soon so that the tantrums will diminish. He has scabs, cuts and bruises ALL OVER his head. He throws himself into the walls, onto the tile and against the door anytime I shut it, knocking my frames off of the walls. He recently bruised his nose pretty good too after giving himself a double bloody nose.
Kyle and I both wonder if Kohen will need a cast first or if Kolt will need stitches in his head first?

He's 26lbs and just recently switched to size 4 diapers. He's our little guy. He gets to forward face in his carseat now though and just learned how to open doors. He loves his blanket, blank staring, pushing the garage door button and drinking milk. We love you Kolt!

That morning I went with Lyndsey to run the Tulip Festival 5K. Last time we did a race together was 2018! The same year we last did the Tulip Festival 5K too. It was so packed that we had to park on the golf course and I barely made it after they started the race 5 min late too. This was my 26th race and I finished it in 33:55 minutes.
I took the kids to the Tulip Festival the night before and we got to walk around with the Juarez Family for a little bit. Kyle took that day off to go fishing and then golfing with his dad and Hayden.
After Kolt's party we went to see Kasen and Tai's basketball game. Kasen told me he wants to play high school and college basketball now. I'm glad he's liking it!
I had the headache after all that, but Kyle went to get me some chocolate milk and it healed me! So we went out for ice cream after the littles were asleep too :)
Love him.
On Kolt's actual birthday I got to go with Tai to her field trip to the Natural History Museum at Thanksgiving Point. My first field trip with Tai.
