Big Girl

5 days before Tai's 2nd birthday I watched her climb out of her crib all by herself!
So that night when Kyle got home we converted her crib into a toddler bed.
I was shocked at how well she went to bed in it that first night too! She stayed in it and went right to sleep. Complete opposite of our experience with Kasen in his big boy bed.
I've also put her highchair away now too. For the last week whenever I try to put her in it she just yells, "Table!" She's getting so big! I can't say that I have a baby anymore.
First nap in her big girl bed=success!
Also, besides calling me Amber, she has started calling Kyle by his name too. It mostly just makes a laugh. Cause it's so stinkin cute to hear her voice.
Kasen's new thing is that he likes to wear "mixed up" jammies. So he doesn't want the tops and bottoms to match. Well Tai found some and wanted to get in on it too! They look like 2 little boys.
Kasen also keeps saying, "When I was a boy named Kasen...." Hope he knows he will always be a boy! lol
One day after running out of wrapping paper we got the wrapping paper tubes and we made binoculars!
Kasen told me he was exploring the jungle and found some elephants.
He also had me do upside down pictures with him one day.
Yay for car naps! We've been living on car naps these last two weeks.
We went to Wendy's for lunch on Tai's birthday and Kasen reorganized their Christmas tree. All the matching candy canes had to be on the same branch. Poor kid has my OCD.
Thursday was Kyle's work Christmas party, then Saturday we had Tai's birthday party, ran to do a session at the temple and made it home in time for our ward Christmas party!
Busy, but worth it.
