Pine View

Our third trailer trip we went back to Pine View Reservoir with Grammy Tammy again this year!
We could not believe how low the lake was though. The boat ramp was so far out of the water. But there was still plenty of good beach to go play by the water.
We played a couple good games of Corn Hole where Kasen was trying to block my bean bag and ended up hip bumping it right into the hole for me! Kohen caught on too and was a pro and putting all the bean bags in the hole.
The next morning we went down to the reservoir where Kasen had everyone helping to collect "muck" for his dam, even Kyle scooped a "good block of muck"! Kasen was working so hard that his happy little butt crack was showing and when I asked him for a picture he let me know he had to focus. Tai also helped haul "chunks" of water when she wasn't treasure hunting for rocks and shells.
"Dad, can you help with the Kohen problem!"
Grammy playing Motor Boat with Kohen!
Tai collected cups and cups full of treasures she found. These shells remind me of the first time I every went to Lake Powell. I collected SO many of them.
And then Dakota brought his kids up on Friday night and we had a rock painting party! It was in memory of Aunt Sandy because she loved painting rocks. I asked Kasen to show me his rock and I love his enthusiastic tah-dah!

The next morning we hurried down to the Lake one more time before we had to check out. Kasen was so excited to see that his dam was still there so that he could work on it some more. Both days Tai wanted to go back to camp sooner than Kasen. He wanted to stay to swim and play for every last minute that he could. The weather was so perfect and even though the forecast said we'd have rain, it only rained during the night.
I am just so lucky that I get to enjoy life through their eyes so often because they make it seem pretty enjoyable. I wish I could sleep like them too.
