Day One: The Boo Crew back at it again! Kohen even went to do a house this year and Tai was telling us that he knocked on the door and started running away without putting the plate down yet! lol
We've even already been Boo'ed back. Yay! Third year in a row- love it!
It has still been SO warm for October. We went to the new Lehi Family Park and the splash pad was still on! Kolt laid right down in the water and was loving it.
We had dinner at the Eason's one night and the kids made a movie! This is Hacker and Trouble that were stars of the film.
The next morning we went with cousins to the Reptile Expo in Salt Lake. Kohen got to hold/hug a ferret and Kasen touched a snake. He wouldn't hold one, but he does want one as a pet one day...
Tai is convinced that she wants a panther chameleon. I told her she needs to research what it even takes to take care of one. So she came home and got on the computer and has been copying down the flyer she took into her notebook too.
Kohen LOVED seeing the mice! He was squealing so loud watching them in their cages.
Aunt Krista let all the kids pick out a 3D printed animal to take home. Thanks Krista!
Kohen thinks his lobster needs to live in a cup of water so he has it on the bathroom sink...
Kasen wanted to watch E.T. so I rented it from the library and we watched it! Kasen said his favorite part of it was the music. He has already been a John Williams fan because of Hedwig's Theme and the Jurassic Park music.
Kohen's preschool went on their second field trip to Sweet Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch where they got to play in the corn, pet the pigs and ride the barrel train ride.
We go to Storytime every week at the Library too.
Kyle took me on a date to a Candlelight Halloween concert. It was a string quartet playing fun Halloween theme songs. I love that he planned a date for us! And the next night we got to go on another date. It was a group date to play Pickleball with 5 other couples in our ward. We'd never played before, but it was a lot of fun.
PUMPKIN CARVING
We turned on Hocus Pocus 2, made some hot chocolate and carved pumpkins. Boys vs. Girls. Although I still had to finish cleaning out the boys pumpkin cause they didn't want to touch the insides. Tai carved her pumpkin all by herself though!
I roasted the pumpkin seeds, but Kasen still doesn't like them. lol
