For our first family party, Grandma MELANIE and Jack invited us to dinner at Black Bear Diner, where the kids got to have Santa pancakes for dinner and then we went to see the Draper Tree of Life lights together with Lyndsey's family.
Afterwards we went to their house to have chocolate fountain treats! Thank you Grandma Melanie and Jack.
Then Grandpa KELLY took the family tubing at Soldier Hollow again this year! I'm pretty sure all the snow was machine made cause there was no snow anywhere else around those hills.
Kolt still isn't big enough to ride down in his own tube, so he and Kohen stayed at the bottom of the hill to play in the snow there. Kohen said he was too scared to go down the hill and that he'd go again when he gets big.
I got to go down with Kasen one time and then we finally convinced Kohen to go down with us. He linked up with Kyle and said he wanted to go again once he got to the bottom! Glad he likes it now and will be excited to go again next time.
Afterwards Grandpa Kelly took all of us to dinner at Tucanos. Thank you for a great night!
That night all the girls got to go have a cousin sleepover at Krista's house. Tai loved it!
The next morning we got to go with GRAMMY TAMMY to McKenna's house to make gingerbread houses.
When Kyle tells Kohen, "No more candy!"
Surprisingly, Kolt was loving the peppermints. He went back a few times to find another peppermint to eat.
What is Christmas time if kids aren't eating candy all day every day?!
Grammy sent a kit home for Tai to decorate her house the next day, since she wasn't there.
Today was our last family Christmas party at Grandma and Grandpa FORSYTH's house. The grandkids all made Santa sleighs out of candy to race down the stairs. It's something we did at one of our family parties when we were kids. #nextgenmems
They seemed to have fun racing their sleighs and then we played a snowman game and Grandpa read us a book.
We missed everyone that wasn't there.
Merry Christmas!
