We got home from Florida at 2am the morning of Father's Day, but that didn't stop us from celebrating our favorite guy! We made breakfast and he opened gifts from all of us. The kids made shrinky dinks at Kyley's house, filled out questionnaires and Tai worked all week on a 3D rubber band dog. I helped them make a banner before we left and I got him the 3 fish hoodie from The Chosen.
I also taught his primary class for him!
The week before Father's Day I had my Dad over for a BBQ. I even learned how to smoke burgers all by myself and everything!
Then after church we went to dinner at Kelly's house. Kyle was able to get a copy of a photo that Kelly remembered seeing at Kennecott and still talked about years later, then Hayden made a frame for it.

We watched Keslee and Ramsay one night this month.
Recreated a photo from 2022.
My friend Nick Strong invited us to a private Splash Summit party so I took Kasen and Tai and we had a blast!
Tai even climbed up the rock wall. She didn't quite make it to the top, but she got pretty far.
We've also enjoyed Free Frazil Fridays, free lunch at the school and Sunday treats on the street. Kohen loves his "lunch school" and even Kolt gets excited to "Eeeee" and get some chocolate "mew."
For another month I have a 2, 4, 8 and 10 year old! All evens. (Easy guess where our miscarriage happened).
We've been to Thanksgiving Point a couple times. Once to Jurassic Jungle with the Juarez family and this week I took the kids to Imaginaria.
They played in bubbles, jumped in bounce houses and saw fairy cottages. It inspired them to come home and make their own fairy cottages! I was laughing at one mom complaining about how Utah kids don't follow rules, but I was one of them! The obstacle course said only 5 and older and the toddler bounce house said under 4 could jump. Well I have a 4 year old that apparently isn't allowed to play anywhere. So I let him do both. Don't even feel bad about it.
I ran the Strawberry Days Guns and Hoses 5K with Ashley and Tedi. I'd been coughing all week the week before. Kyle told me I sounded like a sea lion and that I shouldn't run. But I did it! Took me 37 minutes, but I didn't stop. I ran this race 8 years ago and it was my 2nd ever race. This time it was my 27th race.
She got to go to Jaci and Rowan's baptisms this month. All her best friends.
Making more 3D rubber band animals and practicing doing her own make up.
She is so sweet with Kolt. While we were in Florida she would sleep next to Kolt so he'd go to sleep. She gets him cereal in the morning and drops him off at nursery on Sunday. Best helper. And Kolt LOVES her.

KOHEN
Poor kid got a sunburn because spray sunscreen is the worst. And we're trying to keep him allergies under control. We give him allergy medicine, Pataday drops, but sometimes he still needs a wet rag over his eyes to sleep.
The week he was grounded from his bike he still wanted to wear his helmet on our walk and pretend he was riding his bike. lol

-He has some pants that have Russell inside the waistband. He asked what his pants said and when I told him Russell, he said, "So they are my russelling (wrestling) pants?!" Haha
-He went through a phase of telling us, "Told ya!" that Kyle and I still say to each other.
KOLT

I had never lost a kid until I had Kolt, but we lost him AGAIN this summer. We learned he can unlock the front door and with his helmet on, he left and shut the door behind him. When we noticed he wasn't in the backyard with Kyle or in the house with me we were all looking for him. About 20 minutes later Tai found him coming back down the street, on his bike with one of our neighbors. She saw him by himself and went to turn him around. I made her bread to thank her for that!

He still throws awful tantrums. He wakes up very angry and freaks out for reasons still unknown to me.
He LOVES his "Deedee" (blanket) though. He rubs it on his mouth when he falls asleep and tries to take it everywhere with him.
-I've heard him start calling me Amber a few times now.
-When I change his bum he wants his own "wa wa" (wet wipe) to have and carry around.

He's lucky that he's cute most of the rest of the time! I love his surprised face and how he is constantly lining up all the cars that he finds.
-Whenever we stop in the car he yells at us, "Mom! Go!" Dad! Go!"
-He also loves seeing cows when we drive by and yells, "Cow! Cow!"
