Viva Las Vegas

For my Mom's 60th birthday, she planned a fun family weekend in Las Vegas!

She got to ride with us and got each family a room at Circus Circus. Took us a minute to figure out how the elevators work, but once we did- they were still annoying. lol

Friday night Kyle and I went to see the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show at Mandaley Bay. We thought it would be more of a concert with an impersonator or a hologram, but they were trying to tell some sort of story with 4 Yugioh looking kids and some robots that was just confusing. The one song they did with his hologram was definitely our favorite!

We also stopped to grab a burger at Wahlburgers. They don't let you downsize the doubles so they just kept the extra patty, but still made me pay for it... I told Kyle to add it to the tip, "plus one all beef hamburger patty."

Saturday we had a birthday party at the Adventure Dome! We were there from 10am-10pm with a short break to swim at the Splash Zone in between. We were just missing Kristi. She stayed home to rest before they have their baby soon!

For her birthday, I made Grammy some sourdough bread and had a sweater made for her with all the grandkids names on the sleeves. Happy Birthday Mom!

First ride of the day, we hopped on the Nebulaz. Bad idea for Kasen- he was trying not to puke the whole time. Poor kid was shaking so bad by the time we got off. "I don't like this! I think I'm going to puuuuuke! Get me off!" Just like Kyle feels on amusement park rides. And Tai is all me!

Kasen loved the 4D videos though! Throw back when we all came to Vegas in 2008 and watched a 4D show.

Poor Kasen kept crashing and getting stuck.

Tai and Naomi LOVED all the rides! They went on both roller coasters multiple times, Inverter multiple times, loved the DiskO, Sling Shot and the Sand Pirate. Kasen didn't do any of those rides, except when he got the courage to try the El Loco rollercoaster. 72 seconds. He didn't love it, but it was better than that first ride!

When we stopped to go to the water park there was a pink free fall slide. I watched Tai go down, Naomi go down, then Kasen sit up at the top of it, turn around and climb right back off again. Kohen was big enough for the mat racers and went down that with me twice though!

On our way home I thanked Kasen for not throwing up on any of the rides and then he ended up throwing up in the car. Jinx!

Thank you so much Grammy for an amazing weekend! Our family had so much fun with everyone.
