Kolt's first Halloween! And we decided to do a beach theme. So I thought it would be fun to take some pictures at Manila Pond, but the green water didn't really say beach so much... Haha Oh well!
I love Kohen's DIY scuba diver costume! It is my favorite and only cost $9 to make. I had so much fun and he is as adorable as I imagined! Thank you to Liam for dropping these goggles to the bottom of Sunny Cove at Flaming Gorge so that my Halloween costume dreams could come true.
"I'm a diver. I swim. I don't like deep water."

The cutest Tai Lynn Mermaid
Kasen decided to be Maverick this year and when Kohen saw him in his costume he told Kasen that he needed a mustache! Haha wrong person. When we went to our Ward party someone asked if he was Goose or Maverick and he said, "I'm Maverick! Goose is dead!"
Back in February, Kasen drew this fighter jet that I was supposed to build him for Halloween, complete with a spot for his candy. I did not build it though...
We went to the ward Halloween Potluck and Kasen won the sack race. Woo woo!
And our baby shark with the victim he viciously attacked. Haha Never have I ever had a Halloween speak more truth to my life. Kasen didn't understand why the blood was where is was, but I explained that it hurts when babies first breastfeed so now he gets why it's funny!
It's the little shark fin tail for me!
Spooky Scary Skeletons
We got to go watch the kids Halloween parade at their school and then I went back after lunch to help with both Kasen and Tai's class parties.
Kasen also brought home the tombstone he made earlier this month and it's pretty great!
"Kasen existed to hate chores like cleaning. He treasured school and his great friends and reading books like The Last Kids on Earth, Dogman and fiction. He also loved his good family. Every time he was told to do something he got in his wild imagination because he adored it so much."
Every time we opened the door for a trick or treater Kohen would sneak up from behind and stick his hand in the candy bowl to grab a giant handful! He is all about getting all the candy.
We made a big batch of Witches Brew Root Beer and had a Papa Murphy's Jack-o-Lantern pizza for dinner then headed out to go Trick-or-Treating with our neighbors.
I love hearing Kohen sing, "This is Halloween, This is Halloween!" as he walked back from each house.
Before going home we went to the DeVaney's for hot chocolate and apple cider. It was a great day!
I love Halloween!
