Fall Breaks and a BOO

This year we made it to the pumpkin patch before it was freezing cold! The kids didn't have school the first Friday in October, so we went with Heidi to Sweet Berry Farms and stayed for over 3 hours. Kasen's friend, Jett, came with us too.
Kohen rode the barrel train probably more than 10 times! Every time it was getting ready to go, he'd run to jump on.
Tai's favorite thing was the corn pit. She made us chips and salsa and waffles and jumped in then buried herself over and over and over.
Kasen liked playing hide and seek in the straw maze.
That night we invited all of our neighbor friends over to have s'mores around our fire pit and 5 families came over to hang out! It was such a great day hanging out with so many friends.
Second year in a row we were BOOed! So Kyle made some yummy Oreo cake balls to pass on the fun to a couple of our neighbors. It's one of my favorite things to do in October!

During Fall Break from school Kyle went on a quick trip to Denver to see the Packers play. They ended up losing though so he said it wasn't worth the trip!
While he was away though we went to the Sunflowers and Smiles pumpkin patch on Friday and back to Sweet Berry Farms with Grammy and Emma on Saturday.
Monday, before picking Kyle up from the airport, we went on another hike with the DeVaneys!
We went to see the Lower Bell Canyon Reservoir and all the kids ended up falling in/getting wet while we were there. Kasen was telling me all about how I should have brought towels.
Our 6th hike this year!
On our way home we stopped to walk through a street in Daybreak that all decorated their houses like BarbieLand for Halloween. Then let Tai carve one of our garden pumpkins, Kohen paint the other and Kasen tried carving our giant zucchini. lol We also packed in watching the Haunted Mansion, since it was the only night within 2 weeks that Kyle would be home with us.
