Kolt is 6 Months old today!
This month he tried some green beans and I don't think he's much of a fan. He also hates applesauce. He eats bananas in record time though! And when he eats he rocks back and forth so much that it 1. makes a mess and 2. causes him to have the spoon jabbed into his throat more than necessary!
-We had to put up the baby gate because he is rolling and scooting around all over the place! He's even getting up on his knees a little bit. As soon as he gets to the tile though he's not happy about it.
-He will not take a binky at all anymore. I used to be able to hold it in his mouth for a minute while I laid him in bed, after nursing, but now it makes him so angry. He won't keep it in even a little bit.
-He LOVES shaking his tambourine toy during car rides.
-For the past few weeks he wakes up 3x a night, every 3 hours. And even though I moved him to size 3 diapers, he is still peeing through his jammies every single night. He sleeps on his tummy somehow so that the pee goes right out the top of his diaper, so I have to also change his clothes in the middle of the night now too. I've never had this problem before... And I thought starting solids helped babies sleep better, not worse.
-Watching him try to open his eyes when I get him out of bed in the morning is my favorite. He whips his head around with his eyes closed, but as soon as his dares to open them and can see me, he is all smiles.
We love his laughs and his big happy grins. Happy half birthday Kolt!
